Google Pixel 3 XL vs. Apple iPhone XS Max

Video Reviews: Google Pixel 3 XL VS Apple iPhone XS Max

Google today announced its latest flagship smartphones, the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL, which are designed to compete with Apple’s new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.  Let’s see what other industry professionals are saying about the competition.

Both the Google Pixel 3 XL and the Apple iPhone XS Max are great phones, but there is no way around the improved performance and better design of the iPhone XS Max. We think the Pixel 3 XL tips the scales in the camera department and has some compelling A.I. features, but it doesn’t quite match up to Apple’s biggest. That’s not to say you should avoid the Google Pixel 3 XL — in fact, if you prefer an Android device, then the Google Pixel 3 XL is one of the best you can find. Source – Digitaltrends

Which is better? It’s a Tie.

It goes without saying though that these are two very, very good smartphones – two of the best of the year – and they’ll both serve you well for years. One factor we haven’t mentioned yet is price, which might sway you one way or the other: the Pixel 3 starts for $200 less than the iPhone XS. Source – t3.com

You’ll absolutely send a couple of hundred dollars more to pick up the Apple iPhone XS Max, but if it indeed turns out to offer the better overall performance, that price difference may have some justification behind it. We’ll save our judgement until we can properly put the Pixel 3 XL through its paces to really uncover its worth. So far, though, everything about it is promising – giving its esteemed rival in the iPhone XS Mas a good run for its money.
